Royal Tee Patterson (born LaTina Patterson) is a multi-award-winning creative entrepreneur, multimedia producer, First Assistant Director, branding strategist, and Founder of I AM FLY, LLC, a full-service creative agency and multimedia production company dedicated to helping individuals and brands “Soar to Their Highest Potential.”

Her journey is rooted in faith, resilience, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to transforming vision into reality.

Raised by supportive parents alongside her three sisters, Royal Tee developed an early belief that determination, creativity, and discipline could overcome limitations. Leadership, artistic expression, athletics, and entrepreneurship became pillars of her identity and later shaped her career across entertainment, media, and business development.

A defining moment in her life occurred on June 8, 2012, when she survived an attempted robbery in Atlanta, Georgia, during which she and a lifelong friend were shot at dozens of times and walked away unharmed. That experience became a turning point, strengthening her faith and inspiring her commitment to living intentionally, embracing purpose, and helping others recognize their own potential.

Before entering media full-time, Royal Tee pursued athletics at Tennessee State University, where she earned a coveted walk-on position on the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Team under

Head Coach Tracee Jones. Despite competing while managing significant knee injuries, including a partially torn ACL and meniscus damage, she earned a starting shooting guard position through perseverance and determination.

Following career-changing injuries and financial challenges that altered her athletic path, she redirected her passion toward storytelling, leadership, and creative production.

Her professional career spans telecommunications, operations management, event production, branding, film production, digital media, and entrepreneurship. During nearly a decade in customer-facing technical operations, she became known for exceptional service, consistently receiving direct client recognition and requests through management channels.

In 2013, she transformed her creative vision into entrepreneurship by launching Fly II Society, which later evolved into I AM FLY, LLC, a multimedia company offering branding, video production, photography, web design, graphic design, marketing, and creative consulting services.

Royal Tee also expanded her leadership experience by managing one of Atlanta’s major Black-owned nightlife venues, coordinating large-scale events and productions, and working alongside entertainers, public figures, and creative professionals.

Today, Royal Tee earned her degree in Applied Science in Digital Film from the School of Audio Engineering Institute of Technology, located in Atlanta, GA. She has built a growing reputation in film and television production.
